SimplyTapp was founded in mid 2011 as a cloud based mobile payments solution provider. Specializing cloud based payment solutions we offer the industry only cloud base near field communication payments solution. SimplyTapp offers merchants and banks of all sized the opportunity to maintain control of their brand and users' experience throughout the mobile payments lift cycle.

Our Founders

SimplyTapp was founded by Ted Fifelski and Doug Yeager to foster a more open and friendly environment for NFC card payments at the Point Of Sale (POS).

Ted served as a financial analyst for a technology valuation firm where he specializes in research and trend analysis. He has spent the past two years researching the mobile payments market.

Prior to SimplyTapp, Doug was the founder and CEO of TradeWind Technologies, which sold the first available SDIO NFC device for handhelds in 2005. TradeWind was acquired by SIRIT (SI/TSX) in 2006.

Doug currently holds multiple NFC patents, some of which are currently licensed to an authentication company. Doug authored the Host Card Emulation patch for use in all Android devices.
